3. What we collect
When you create a resume we collect the information you enter, which may include:
- Name, phone number, email address and location;
- Work history, employers and dates;
- Tickets, licences and certifications;
- Plant, machinery, skills and competencies;
- Education, qualifications, hobbies and reference details (if you provide them).
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details -Stripe handles that directly.
4. How we collect it
We collect this information directly from you through the resume builder form. We do not collect it from third parties.
5. Lawful basis for processing
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Performance of a contract to generate and deliver the resume you have paid for;
- Consent where you opt in (see Section 7) to be contacted about work and to have your details shared with our hiring network;
- Legitimate interests - to provide customer support, secure the Service and prevent misuse.
6. Why we collect and use it
- To generate, format and deliver your resume (PDF);
- To process your payment;
- To provide customer support;
- Where you have given consent (see Section 7), to contact you about relevant work opportunities and share your details with our approved hiring network.
7. Work opportunities & sharing with our hiring network
As part of the Construction Jobs Australia network, we can connect job seekers with relevant work. This is optional and opt-in. If, and only if you tick the consent box when building your resume, you agree that we may:
- contact you about suitable work opportunities; and
- share your resume and contact details with our approved network of hiring managers and recruiters.
8. Disclosure to third parties
We disclose personal information only to:
- Stripe to process your payment;
- Our AI processing provider the resume content you enter is processed by a third-party AI service to improve wording and formatting. This is not automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects;
- Approved hiring managers and recruiters within our network - only if you have opted in (see Section 7).
9. International data transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom, and some of our service providers (including our payment processor and AI processing provider) may store or process data outside the UK and Australia, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in line with applicable data protection laws.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on this website, including:
- Essential cookies - required to operate the Service, including cookies set by Stripe to process payments securely.
- Google Analytics (GA4) - to understand how visitors use the site. Data is anonymised and aggregated.
- Microsoft Clarity - to analyse user behaviour and improve the site experience.
- Facebook Pixel - to measure the effectiveness of our social media activity.
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie banner on this site. Declining non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use the Service.
11. Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure hosting and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Retention
We retain your resume data and personal information for up to 12 months after your purchase, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Payment records may be retained longer where required by law or accounting obligations.
13. Your rights
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you have rights to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction or rectification of inaccurate information;
- request erasure of your information ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to how we process your information;
- request a portable copy of the information you provided;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us (Section 15). We will respond within a reasonable period and in line with applicable law.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first (Section 15). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant supervisory authority:
